Financial practice and study meet

The goal for this yearly career event is to introduce our institutes, our study programmes and research areas to our partners in industry as a first step in exploring a stronger collaboration. Furthermore we aim to give our most ambitious students in the Bachelor and Master degree programmes more insight into practical problems and show them opportunities to take part in practical internships or professional training programmes.

The participating companies were ABN AMRO, Flow Traders, IMC Careers Europe, ING, KPMG,  Optiver Services, Ortec Finance, Rabobank and Zanders. These companies and students and staff in finance related master programmes and research groups at the UvA could meet at a fair. In addition there were possibilities to participate in one-to-one interviews and to discuss the practice of finance during case studies offered by the companies.
