With their podcast the makers want to connect people and science. That is not always easy, especially for subjects such as mathematics and statistics. However, the makers indicated, many people do find forensic research interesting. And Marjan is the person who combines those two subjects beautifully.

In the podcast entitled 'Solving crime with mathematics' Marjan talks about how her work contributes to forensic research, the role of probability theory and statistics in that research and about what a Bayesian network entails.
