Teaching mathematics plays a central role at the KdV Institute.
Mathematics education is organized in bachelor programmes and master programmes. The bachelor programme Mathematics is taught by lecturers of the KdVI. The staff of KdVI is also involved in the bachelor programmes of Physics and Astronomy, Life Sciences and Informatics.
The KdVI organizes two master programmes: 'Mathematics' and 'Stochastics and Financial Mathematics'.
Next to this, the KdVI offers the Zomercursus (summer course) for students starting one of the programmes of the UvA but having a deficiency in their math education. The KdVI also organizes Leve de Wiskunde for teachers and pupils from secondary schools.
